Black History Photography Exhibition 2018

The black culture has evolved musically, socially and politically in the last two decades in Canada. Carlos Ferguson’s photography has captured some of the faces of that evolution in Ontario.
This photo documentary work, part of the AfroCanadaViews which interviewed and documented the views of African Canadians (whose works have positively impacted Canadian society) has added another voice to that definition.
Engaging both the traditional photography and digital imaging as tolls, he has captured part of the spirit of an evolving, vibrant black culture in Ontario.
