The Toronto Mass Choir celebrated their 25th anniversary at the Malvern Christian Assembly in Scarborough with a high energy concert to a packed house. Many guest and alumni helped the choir recede through memory lane of its 25 years of promoting gospel music, not only in Canada, but throughout the world as was evident from the slide shows from their visit to Poland in 2011 and their most recent trip to Romania earlier this year
Under the leadership of director Karen Burke, TMC continue to evolve as it delivered excellence in gospel music while being a unifying force in the community. TMC has won many awards throughout their 25 years including the 2003 Juno award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year.
